We’re seeking an ambitious and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established residential housebuilder on a new-build housing development in Ely.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in traditional build housing who is looking to develop their career within a quality-focused construction environment.

The Role
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the Site Manager with the daily management of site operations.
Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress against the build programme.
Maintaining high standards of health, safety and site housekeeping.
Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring work meets required specifications.
Monitoring workmanship and resolving issues promptly.
Assisting with site paperwork, reports and progress updates.
Ensuring plots are completed on schedule and to customer expectations.
About You
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Trainee Site Manager or in a similar residential construction role.
Experience working on traditional-build housing developments.
A good understanding of health and safety requirements and quality control.
Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are desirable, with relevant site management qualifications expected where applicable.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
