A leading UK residential developer is seeking an experienced Senior Land & Partnerships Manager to join its East Midlands team and play a key role in delivering ambitious growth plans across the region.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Land & Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying, securing and progressing land and development opportunities that support the region’s long-term business objectives. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will lead negotiations, manage acquisitions and drive projects from initial appraisal through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and secure land and partnership opportunities across the region.
• Support the delivery of the regional business plan and land acquisition strategy.
• Lead on land appraisals, due diligence and commercial negotiations.
• Manage bid submissions and negotiations relating to legal agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, housing associations and other key stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with planning, technical, commercial and delivery teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the land team.
• Monitor market activity and proactively source new opportunities.

About You
The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in land acquisition, strategic land, partnerships or development.
• A strong understanding of the planning system and residential development process.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing complex land transactions and development opportunities.
• The ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and motivating teams.
• A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
