An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Land & Partnerships Manager to join a leading national housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes and sustainable communities across the UK.

Operating at circa 800 units per annum across the region, this is a high-profile role offering genuine influence over the business’s land acquisition strategy and future growth plans.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly into the Head of Land & Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing and securing strategic land and partnership opportunities across East Yorkshire and the wider region.

You’ll be responsible for driving the regional land strategy, managing complex negotiations, overseeing bid submissions and leading land transactions through to completion.

This position also offers the opportunity to manage and develop an established team, helping to shape both the regional land pipeline and the next generation of land professionals within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source and secure land opportunities in line with regional growth plans
• Lead negotiations with landowners, agents, local authorities and key stakeholders
• Assess land opportunities from planning, commercial and viability perspectives
• Drive strategic land and partnership activities across the region
• Prepare and oversee bids, development appraisals and investment cases
• Manage legal agreements and land acquisition processes through to completion
• Work closely with planning, technical, commercial and operational teams
• Support the delivery of the regional business plan and long-term growth objectives
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the Land & Partnerships team

About You
We are keen to speak with individuals who have:

• Proven experience within land acquisition, strategic land, land promotion or partnerships
• A strong understanding of the planning system and residential development process
• Experience working for a housebuilder, strategic land promoter, developer or planning consultancy
• A track record of securing land opportunities and driving projects through acquisition
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• The ability to build long-term relationships with landowners, agents and key stakeholders
• Previous management experience or the ambition to step into a leadership position
