The Role
As Planning & Technical Assistant, you’ll support the successful delivery of residential developments across the portfolio, assisting with both planning and technical functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the discharge of planning conditions and planning submissions.
- Preparing documentation for meetings, planning applications and consultant instructions.
- Supporting design development and scheme reviews alongside architects and consultants.
- Coordinating with engineers, architects and technical specialists as projects progress towards construction.
- Assisting with material specifications and product sourcing.
- Managing workloads effectively to support project deadlines and business objectives.
- Representing the business professionally when engaging with external stakeholders.
About You
We’re keen to speak with graduates or candidates in the early stages of their career who have a genuine passion for property development, planning, design and construction.
You’ll also possess:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.
- An interest in UK planning policy and residential development.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and information.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, with CAD experience advantageous.
