An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a leading residential development business delivering housing sites across the Anglia region.

This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting the planning function across a broad portfolio of live and emerging residential schemes. You’ll be involved at multiple stages of the planning process, from early site appraisal through to the management of planning applications and post‑consent activity.

Working as part of a regional planning and land team, you will provide day‑to‑day planning support, working closely with external consultants, local planning authorities and internal land and technical colleagues to help drive sites forward.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation, coordination and submission of planning applications for residential developments
• Supporting planning input into site appraisals and land acquisition opportunities
• Liaising with Local Planning Authorities, statutory consultees and external consultants
• Monitoring planning permissions and supporting the discharge of conditions
• Reviewing local planning policy, emerging plans and material planning considerations
• Attending meetings with planners, consultants and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate planning records and providing updates to the wider team
• Supporting appeals and amendments where required
