Senior Engineering Manager | Cheshire | £75k+P

Your Role:

As Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Managing all site technical and engineering aspects during construction.
Supervising roads, sewers, utilities, and communal areas to ensure compliance with planning, design, and NHBC requirements.
Procuring and managing adoption agreements for roads and sewers, including historical legacy sites.
Coordinating third-party consultants, utility providers, and contractors to meet build programmes and budgets.
Conducting inspections, spot checks, and overseeing remedial works.
Managing engineering-related customer care issues in liaison with the Customer Care Team.
Reviewing engineering and design packages, issuing drawings, and ensuring consistency with approved planning layouts.
Supporting departmental budgeting and bond management.
Key Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or equivalent in an engineering-related subject.
Minimum 3 years in a similar role with another housebuilder.
Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Local Highway Design Guides.
Strong knowledge of:
Sewers for Adoption and Section 38, 111, 228, 278 of the Highways Act.
Building Regulations (Parts L & M) and NHBC inspection procedures.
Road opening licensing, utility coordination, and groundworks.
Demonstrated ability to manage costs, value engineer, and resolve technical site issues.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
