Role: Assistant Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Dartford office – projects across London & South East
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 + car allowance or company car + attractive benefits package

WRG has a brilliant opportunity for a young and ambitious H&S professional to join a leading Principal Contractor based in the South East. Our client has been established for over 95 years, they are heavily involved in refurbishment, planned maintenance, retrofit, cladding and fire remediation projects up and down the country.
They have a diverse client base, typically within housing (both public and private), commercial, retail, industrial, education, healthcare and have been appointed on several long-term frameworks.
The business is looking to now appoint an Assistant Health & Safety Advisor to their team in the South East. They are looking for someone with a couple of years experience or maybe someone “on the tools” who wants to take a side step and forge a career in H&S.
You would be working closely with a Senior H&S Manager who would be their to mentor and train you, they need someone who is keen to learn and develop new skills and who is genuinely passionate about making a real difference.
Responsibilities (full training would be provided):
· Carry out a range of H&S services including: site audits, site inspections, accident and investigation reports.
· Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date and review the document on a regular basis.
· Carry out fire risk assessments and support the cladding remediation teams.
· Ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
Requirements:
· NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General or equivalent (desirable).
· NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
· Positive “can do” attitude.
· Team player.
· Willingness to learn and develop.
