Senior Planner | Specialist Developer | Leeds | £60k+P

About the role:

·        The position will involve managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation; preparation of written reports and statements and submission of all planning application documentation.

·        It will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officer’s and any/all parties involved in the planning application processes and being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.

·        As a result, you will need to be able to take ownership of projects – some planning experience within local authority or private sector, is therefore necessary.

About you:

·        Experience in a Planning role of no less than 2 years

·        High standards of written and verbal communication;

·        Ambitious, self-motivated but also a genuine team player;

·        A keen interest in the full land and planning process
