Architectural Technician | Luxury Developer | North West | Up to £50k +P

Job Description:

·        Produce Working Drawings package (RIBA Stage 4 Detailed Design), including coordination of consultant information (Structure, civils and landscape, heating & plumbing designs etc.).

·        Prepare conveyance plans.

·        Prepare Finishes Schedules.

·        Prepare project specific detail drawings.

·        Review and coordinate utility services with site plans and meter positions etc.

·        Coordinate civils, landscape and other consultant information and produce Site External Works Plan, and Boundary Treatment Plan.

·        Liaise with the Planning Manager to ensure the relevant information is available for the discharge of planning conditions.

·        Prepare and submit Building Regulation and Warranty provider information for approval and ensure that new regulation requirements are anticipated and incorporated as required.

·        Provide ongoing technical support for our Build Department at construction stage with any working drawing related queries.

·        Respond to technical queries raised by the Sales Department in relation to specification, customer extra and conveyancing queries.

·        Review and comment on supplier information e.g., beam & block, joists, trusses etc. Manage the supplier approvals tracker to ensure that approvals are completed in advance of site call off dates.

·        Manage information flow, including internal drawing packages and external consultant coordination to ensure that information is issued to site in a timely manner.

·        Attend and report at Internal Progress Meetings and HA meetings.

·        Ensure that office procedures are implemented.

 

Key skills:

·        High proficiency in Autocad is essential, including use of xrefs, creating and managing dynamic blocks.

·        To have good problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented to produce and coordinate high quality drawing information.

·        Highly organised and proactive. Using own initiative and demonstrating independent working ability when required.

·        Time management skills and ability to manage and prioritise tasks on multiple projects is essential.

·        A good working knowledge of the current Building Regulations together with knowledge of the NHBC/Premier/ LABC standards.

·        A good knowledge of technical detailing applying sound technical knowledge relevant to the role.
