Architectural Designer | Leading Housebuilder | Hertfordshire | £40k-£50k

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·        Assisting in the upkeep and development of our working drawing packages for current developments, this will include updates to the internal and construction specifications alongside standard details to enable the production of our sites.

·        Attending workstreams and collaboration meetings within the regional team and 3rd party consultants and designers will be key to ensure key deadlines are met in line with CALA standards.

·        Working as part of a busy design team, you will be working on a range of interesting projects, looking at the design process and collaboration through to construction.

·        Keep up to date with any future changes in Building Regulations that may impact Cala or our product, by proactively researching for information to fully understand internal and external customer needs

Ideally you will have:

A background in the Architectural Design provision, whether that be through a HNC/HND or Architectural related degree is essential. We are seeking to recruit someone who is eager to learn, can work under pressure to meet deadlines and who has a passion for Architectural technology and building regulations. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture skills are essential, and Revit knowledge would be advantageous.
