I am working with a multi-award-winning luxury residential bespoke client build and property development company that seeks to bolster commercially.
The commercial director is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join him in delivering some of the regions most desired homes.
A family business, based in Buckinghamshire, with passion, care and dedication for the properties they design and construct.
A growing team and have an opportunity for a knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor with experience in luxury residential building to work alongside our Commercial Partner in a collaborative, inclusive and dynamic working environment where your contributions are truly valued.
Responsibilities
Material Scheduling & Procurement:
o Oversee and manage the centralised material purchasing
o Negotiation and finalisation of schedules
o Circulation to the wider teams
Sub-contractor & Supplier packages:
o Setting up, updating and management of procurement schedules for each project
o Prepare detailed scope of works/measured pricing schedules/marked up drawings per package of works and issue tenders to sub-contractors
o Analysis, normalisation and negotiation
o Raising sub-contract/supplier orders with the correct contractual paperwork
Costing Variations:
o Tracking and identifying changes to original scopes
o Co-ordinating, negotiating and agreeing cost implications with the relevant parties, in accordance with the contract terms
Financial:
o Assisting the Accounts team by reviewing and responding to queries with sub-contractor payment applications
Project tendering:
o Undertaking sub-contractor procurement tasks (similar to that described under ‘Sub-Contractor & Supplier packages’ but slightly panned down)
o Co-ordinating queries and ensuring all works captured within the tender documents are added to the pricing schedule
o Preparation of measured pricing schedules and estimate for work
