The Company

I am currently working with a facades and envelope contractor that works residential and commercial projects. They provide services for cladding, windows, doors, and curtain walling. However their most recent projects have involved Recladding.

They currently have 3 Re-Cladding projects in London (Canary Wharf, Tottenham Hale, & Bromley by Boe) with these projects valued between £8 million & £12 million.

The Role

Our Client requires a Quantity Surveyor with Re-Cladding experience to join the team to help with the increased demand from multiple new project wins.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting on construction projects.

Qualifications

• Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills
• Ability to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conduct cost planning
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Experience with value engineering and cost-saving techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

Salary

• Basic salary between £60,000 + £70,000
• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
• All travel expensed
• Working Schedule (2 days on site, 2 days in the office, 1 day working from home)
