An independent building consultancy in Kent is looking to grow their team with the addition of a Building Surveyor.

The consultancy pride themselves in being a tight bunch of experts who deliver accurate construction advice across the built environment. The division is currently leading projects in the public housing, education, healthcare and commercial sectors. They undertake new build, maintenance and refurbishment schemes in Kent and the surrounding home counties.

We are looking for a confident and competent building surveyor who has experience in leading programmes from inception to completion. You the successful building surveyor will undertake duties in the professional and project building surveying disciplines. There is a healthy variety of structures to work on including; private schools, luxury apartments, distribution centers and Grade I & II listed buildings. Due to the organic growth and increase in workload an the opportunity has arisen.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration
• Project design & specification writing
• Feasibility reports
• Party wall matters
• Condition surveys
• Schedule of dilapidations
• Report writing
• Project management

Building Surveyor MRICS

• BSc in Building Surveying
• MRICS qualified or working towards this
• Minimum three year’s experience in a similar role
• Lead your own schemes
• Proficient IT skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK drivers licence
