A UK leading practice is looking to add a Senior Health & Safety CDM consultant to the team. The Birmingham based consultancy is looking to add a competent construction professional to the division.

The organisation prides themselves on delivering accurate advice across the built environment, they operate in several sectors including commercial, education, residential and industrial. You the successful H&S CDM consultant will work on several programmes across the Midlands and the surrounding home counties.

My client boast a wealth of experience providing innovative Health and Safety services within the construction industry. Their range of health and safety services help meet the needs of their ever-increasing client base, from principal designer services and CDM support services.

Responsibilities

• Advising and assisting clients in carrying out their duties under CDM 2015.
• Working with designers to carry out Health and Safety design reviews and advising them accordingly in line with legislation and best practice.
• Undertaking a wide range of CDM Consultant duties in line with agreed service deliveries.
• Undertaking H&S audits and Inspections.
• Reviewing RA/MS, carrying out accident investigation, H&S Policy and procedure writing and other H&S services.
• Being able to deliver H&S and CDM training.
• Learning and applying quality assurance principles.
• Keeping up to date and abreast of relevant legislative and best practice changes

H&S CDM Consultant

• Comprehensive knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015
• Health & Safety knowledge, ideally applicable to the construction industry.
• Excellent client facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• IMaPS status, Grad/Cert IOSH.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate qualified.
• Practical experience in managing or providing dedicated CDM / H&S advisor services/role
• Experience in either construction site safety or design (Architecture, Engineering, Surveying etc.)
• Appropriate CSCS Card
• UK Driving Licence.
