£45,000 – £50,000 per annum

WRG have been instructed on a unique opportunity, we are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a construction consultancy based in Nottingham. This role will be directly working on MOD projects across the UK.

The multi-discipline practice is looking to increase their health and safety division with the addition of a knowledgeable professional. You the successful Health and Safety Consultant will work autonomously on multiple structures across the UK. You will offer accurate H&S/CDM advice and liaise with important stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone who has previous MOD experience or has the passion to work in this sector. We are seeking an individual who can deliver multiple schemes to high quality.

Responsibilities

• Offer a variety of health & safety/ CDM services to a diverse client base.
• Familiar with all associated documentation relating to CDM 2015 e.g CPP’s, PCI’s, H&S file etc. and that the documents are updated on a regular basis.
• Liaise with various stakeholders on projects – client, principal contractor, architect and keep them updated in relation to H&S/ CDM matters.
• Ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
• Carry out site inspections and accident investigations when required.
• Offer other safety services such as working at height, DSE assessments, access audits, legionella inspections, confined spaces.
• Develop existing client relationships and spot new opportunities.

Health and Safety Advisor

• SC Clearance
• NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Fire (desirable).
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
• Member of IOSH, APS, IIRSM or a similar professional body.
• Excellent working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.
