Role: H&S/ CDM Advisor

WRG are excited to support an award winning multi-disciplinary construction and design consultancy that operate across the UK. In recent years the business has heavily invested in their safety & compliance team and this has grown significantly, our client has developed an excellent reputation in the sector which has led to them winning repeat work and being appointed on various frameworks up and down the country.
Due to this continued success, they are now looking to appoint a H&S/ CDM Advisor to join their established safety team in Manchester and oversee a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects across the North West of England.
Our client typically work on a range of iconic and groundbreaking projects within the residential, healthcare, commercial, retail, sport, leisure, industrial, hotel, student accommodation, manufacturing, office and university sectors. The role would suit an energetic and ambitious safety professional who is starting out in their career and would like to join a well-established consultancy which puts their employees first.
Duties:
- Offer a variety of health & safety/ CDM services to a diverse client base.
- Familiar with all associated documentation relating to CDM 2015 e.g CPP’s, PCI’s, H&S file etc. and that the documents are updated on a regular basis.
- Liaise with various stakeholders on projects – client, principal contractor, architect and keep them updated in relation to H&S/ CDM matters.
- Ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
- Carry out site inspections and accident investigations when required.
- Develop client relationships and build new ones.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Fire (desirable).
- Member to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or a similar professional body.
- Excellent working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
