Up to £45,000 per annum + excellent benefits

An award winning independent property and construction consultancy is looking to grow their Health & Safety division with the addition of a Health & Safety Consultant. The South East London based organisation is looking to appoint an experienced and competent professional to join their already successful department.

The role is to support the Health & Safety Director with several projects to meet the CDM/H&S requirements, along with leading CDM schemes within the professional services team. Ideally you have experience working within the residential sector. The successful Heath & Safety Consultant will provide professional expertise by recognising hazard and seeking to minimise risk. You will be tasked with maintaining and improving health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Work is located in South East London and the surrounding Home Counties.

Responsibilities

·        Preparation of Pre-Construction information and Construction Phase Plans.

·        Raising and issuing F10 notifications.

·        Develop Designer Risk Assessments for a wide range of residential projects.

·        Compile Designers Risk Registers and closing out design related issues.

·        Attend Design Team Meetings, resolving design related health and safety issues.

·        Carry out regular CDM site audits and attending progress meetings.

·        Compile Health & Safety files during the project for the client at handover.

·        Working with Clients and Contractors to provide advice on Health and Safety practices on site, in design and future maintenance.

Health & Safety Consultant

·        NEBOSH Construction/ NEBOSH General or equivalent.

·        NEBOSH Fire or equivalent (desirable but not essential).

·        TechIOSH minimum. Ideally Chartered (CMIOSH)

·        IMaPS or AaPS

·        2 – 3 years experience delivering H&S/ CDM service to clients.

·        Excellent knowledge of CDM 2015 Regs.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Full UK driver’s licence
