Group Facilities Manager – Client Side, Sports and Recreation, Flexible Base

We are partnering win a pioneer for sport and recreation, hiring a Group Facilities Manager (FM) to oversee a range of Stadia across the UK.

The role

This is a fast paced ‘dual’ role role with a flexible base, reporting to the Head of Property, where no two days will be the same.

You will be overseeing Onsite Facilities Managers and safety personnel for scheduled PPMs and reactive works using CAFM system ‘Expansive’. You will hold ultimate responsibility for the business’s facilities budget across hard and soft services, dealing with procurement, tendering, contracting and more.

You will travel, periodically across a number of race courses and greyhound tracks, providing additional support as Operations Manager in partnership with safety / compliance and on-site FMs for race meetings.

You

We are looking for a hands-on, mobile Facilities Manager with a good technical understanding (M&E). You will need to be a strong communication and have a passion for service excellence. We are ideally looking for circa 5 years’ experience in similar role across the hospitality or recreation /sports / hotel sectors, with a valid driver’s license.

IOSH, NEBOSH safety qualifications are appealing, as well as holding IWFM membership.
