Technical Coordinator | Yorkshire | Tier 1 Developer | £45k+P

Our client are a cash rich, leading housebuilder with big growth plans over the next 5 years. Due to expansion, they require a Technical Coordinator on the team to work on layouts/superstructures on large housing projects.

You will be involved in the design, layout and delivery of all current/future sites. The Technical Coordinator is role that supports elements of site delivery from conception right through to the operational build.

Day to day duties:

·        Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications for developments

·        Prepare, submit and secure Building Regulations Approvals for developments

·        Prepare working drawings and collate all supporting information

·        Work closely with the other functional areas across the business unit to ensure technical considerations are being made at every phase of build

·        In conjunction with the Project Manager provide technical support for all sites

Ideally you will have:

·        Full technical understanding and knowledge of regulatory constraints

·        A thorough understanding and previous exposure to a residential planning process

·        Strong project management skills

·        An eye for detail with a passion for driving planning submission best practice

·        An interest in place making and the design of residential communities
