We are handling a Commercial Manager role for a leading Housebuilder, a Commercial Director we know well is seeking a strong hands on CM whom will be overseeing 2-4 sites and a team of up 6 surveyors at varying levels.

Typical Responsibilities:

• To assist in the speedy, accurate and cost effective management for development sites from pre-production negotiation to completion.
• Identification and assessment of suitable sub-contractors.
• Negotiation and letting of sub-contractors within the set timescales including the recommendation of any possible cost effective savings on the development design detailed and materials specified.
• Regularly reviewing cost estimates and accurately maintaining site budgets.
• Recommending the most cost effective means of developing the land and advising any suitable alternatives.
• Special projects as instructed by the Commercial Director.
• The specification of materials and plant in accordance with Group Agreements.
• Accurate and comprehensive procurement of all subcontract packages.
• Accurate reporting and documenting.
• Assisting and managing the Surveyors
