We are recruiting to a Buyer role in West Yorkshire for a well known high spec Housebuilder who as a business are going from strength to strength and have a huge pipeline. With this in mind they are looking to add a Buyer to the team, someone who has relevant housebuilding experience or experience in Buying for residential projects.

The role will include:

Material scheduling for multiple live and upcoming developments at any one time

Calculating bulk quantities of bricks, blocks and tiles required for each site and scheduling them with the manufacturer in a timely manner

Maintaining and monitoring regional bulk material levels to ensure there are no shortfalls or over ordering

Submitting material cost budgets to department surveyors and advising where large losses or stolen product has occurred

Finally you will need to work very closely alongside Site and Contract Managers to ensure requisitions are processed efficiently and site issues are overcome swiftly

Produce reports for inclusion in business reporting
