Senior Site Manager – South West
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package
Location: South West – Multiple Site Locations

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded residential housebuilder operating across the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional to join a growing regional team, with three site locations available and strong opportunities for long-term career progression.

The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential development, ensuring that all homes are delivered safely, to programme, to the required quality standards and within budget.

You will lead and motivate the site team and subcontractors, maintaining high standards throughout the construction process while ensuring that health, safety and environmental requirements are fully adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the development.
Manage and motivate site-based teams and subcontractors.
Ensure construction programmes are delivered on time and to budget.
Maintain excellent standards of quality and workmanship.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
Monitor progress and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
Work closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors and other members of the wider construction team.
Carry out regular site inspections and ensure company procedures are followed.
Manage build quality and ensure homes are completed to the required specification.
Support and mentor Assistant Site Managers and other members of the site team.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, contractors and other stakeholders.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager / Site Manager with a strong background in residential housebuilding.

You will ideally have:

Proven experience managing residential developments from start to finish.
Strong knowledge of traditional and/or timber-frame construction.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
A relevant construction/site management qualification.
A strong focus on quality, programme and customer satisfaction.
