Design Engineer
Location: Northampton | Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package

We are working with a leading national residential developer who is looking to appoint a Design Engineer to join their technical team in Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to play a key role in delivering residential developments, supporting projects from initial design through to planning, technical approval and construction.

The Role
Prepare and coordinate engineering designs for residential developments.
Produce detailed infrastructure and engineering drawings using CAD.
Support the technical team with design development, planning applications and technical approvals.
Coordinate with external consultants, local authorities and statutory bodies.
Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, standards and project requirements.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure developments are delivered efficiently.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Design Engineer role within residential development or housebuilding.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDS software.
Understanding of residential infrastructure, drainage, highways and engineering design.
Knowledge of planning and technical approval processes.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
