We are seeking an ambitious Graduate Planner to join an established planning team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning graduate to develop their technical expertise while working on a varied portfolio of strategic and immediate land opportunities, supporting the delivery of high-quality residential developments.

You’ll gain exposure to every stage of the planning process, from land promotion and planning policy through to planning applications, condition discharge and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess potential land opportunities and provide planning appraisals.
• Support the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Provide planning advice to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Liaise with local planning authorities, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Assist with planning policy monitoring and promotional activities.
• Manage planning conditions and support the discharge process.
• Attend project meetings and represent the business in planning discussions.
• Help drive planning strategies that support business growth and land acquisition.

About You

• Degree or Master’s qualification in Town Planning, Real Estate or a related discipline.
• RTPI and/or RICS accredited qualification desirable, but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in the residential development sector.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
