Shape the delivery of major housing sites across the East Midlands.

An excellent opportunity for a Planner to join a leading residential development business with a strong regional pipeline and a proven track record of delivering high-quality housing.

This is a hands-on, developer‑side role where you’ll work across live and emerging sites, supporting the planning process from early appraisal through to consent and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support planning applications for residential developments
• Provide planning input into land acquisition and site appraisal opportunities
• Liaise with Local Planning Authorities, statutory consultees and external consultants
• Coordinate planning statements, supporting reports and application submissions
• Monitor planning permissions and manage the discharge of conditions
• Track planning performance and maintain accurate project records
• Review local and emerging planning policy
• Support appeals, amendments and post-consent matters
• Work closely with land, technical and legal teams to drive sites forward

About You

• Experience in planning within consultancy, local authority or developer environments
• Solid understanding of the UK planning system and residential development process
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills
• Organised, proactive and commercially aware
• MRTPI qualified or working toward chartered status
