Technical Coordinator | Family-owned developer | Northamptonshire | £60k+P

 

The role:

Responsible for briefing, managing, and driving external consultants, obtaining building control approval, discharging planning conditions and producing construction drawings to enable efficient site starts. Always promoting the Company in a professional and organised manner. Punctuality and tidiness are essential.

 

Candidate specification:

·        Qualified to HND level or higher in Design, Construction or Civil Engineering

·        Minimum of five years’ experience in a technical role within the housebuilding sector is desirable but not essential

·        IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, Word & Zutec

·        Strong understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, Party Wall Awards, and associated construction industry legislation

·        Good design skills with the ability to interpret drawings and technical demands of others

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Sound commercial acumen, articulate and calm under pressure

·        Strong people skills, able to work as part of a team or in isolation and manage external working relationships

·        Organised and self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of projects
