A requirement for an Assistant Buyer has arisen for a company established as a leading developer with a passion for building high quality new homes, whilst also creating vibrant, sustainable communities.

The core responsibilities in this role will be to prepare accurate quantities and material schedules, competitively sourcing and co-ordinating the supply of plant and materials required for your projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be supervising the processes and overall contracts management, while supporting the business strategy.

You will also manage all tender documentation, pricing and trading agreements and quotations, ensuring your team deliver on time, meeting tight deadlines. Forecasting costs and estimates on a monthly basis along with regular cost reviews with the wider Build team will be essential in this role to work effectively.

As an Assistant Buyer, you will provide feedback and guidance on cost and buildability to the Technical team, working closely with other disciplines to continue product development and value engineering.
