We are working with a leading National Housebuilder who are seeking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to an established Commercial team. A friendly team based in Exeter on a permanent basis, to be working on traditional build homes the purpose of the role will include;

• Preparing tender information;
• Carry out monthly site valuations;
• Procurement of subcontract labour;
• Review subcontract variations, and seek approval if agreed;
• Preparation of CVR and cost to complete documentation in line with the commercial timetable;
• Deal with internal or subcontractor queries or requests;
• Preparation of reports, monthly accruals, cost analysis, assessment of contractor valuations/ applications for payment, and cost forecasting;
• Update and accurately maintain records and databases;
• Entering data onto the in-house computer systems (COINS)
