Engineering Manager | Essex | Up to £85k Plus Package

A market-leading residential developer is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Essex office. My client has an enviable reputation within the industry, producing quality housing across the nation.

The ideal candidate will be already working for a residential developer however, those from practice who have extensive experience on mid-large residential schemes will also be considered.

Key responsibilities:

·       Assist the Technical Director in obtaining fee quotations from specialist consultants

·       Liaise with the commercial and land teams

·       Review technical information and provide value engineering solutions

·       Complete, approve and formalise the details of all adoption agreements

·       Ensure that new regulation requirements are anticipated

·       Work with the Central Design team to develop engineering products

·       Research build systems to ensure we are ready for legislation and market change

Candidates must be educated in Civil Engineering to degree level or equivalent and will preferably be experience in AutoCAD. It is also essential that you are confident managing external consultants, in particular ensuring that timelines are met.
