Role: SHE Manager

Location: London – projects across London/ South East

Salary: Up to £70,000 + car or car allowance + attractive benefits package

WRG is supporting one of our long standing clients with their ambitious growth plans for the future. They are one of the UK’s fasted growing residential developers/ main contractors who operate across London/ South East.

Our client has developed a reputation for the excellent quality of the homes they build, their sustainable building practices and award winning customer service.

They are now looking to appoint a SHE Manager to oversee a range of new build residential projects across London and the South East. The role would suit an experienced and competent H&S professional who is familiar with working on new build residential, mixed use and commercial projects on multiple sites and would now like to take the next step in their career and join a dynamic team of construction professionals.

Responsibilities:

·        Conduct regular site and office inspections using the inhouse safety app to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.

·        Engage with subcontractors to ensure they meet company health, safety, and environmental requirements.

·        Assist and support Regional Directors with monthly SHE reporting and data analysis.

·        Play a key role in accident investigations, gathering information, and supporting regions in the process.

·        Help drive environmental initiatives across sites, with a strong focus on sustainability and compliance.

·        Travel regularly to various group sites and offices, ensuring consistent HSE practices across all locations.

Requirements:

·        NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.

·        NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).

·        Environmental Qualification: Preferably holding or working towards an environmental certification (such as IEMA or ISO14001).

·        Membership to IOSH, IIRSM, or APS.

·        Strong communication skills to engage with all levels of staff and subcontractors.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

·        Competent in accident investigation and reporting.
