Role: Architect

Location: Billericay, Essex (4 days per week in the office)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE) + attractive benefits package

WRG are supporting an independent building consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Architect to their design team, based from our clients offices in Billericay, Essex.

The business focuses primarily on the education and healthcare sectors and have been appointed on several longterm frameworks with various school and hospital trusts. Our client has been established for 5 years and have very ambitious plans for the future and the growth of the overall organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage architectural designs for various projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Produce high-quality, detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and oversight throughout the design and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Participate in client presentations, discussions, and project meetings.
• Foster a creative, collaborative, and solutions-driven work environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Architecture (Part 2/ Part 3).
• RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) qualified or equivalent, with a strong understanding of UK building regulations.
• Proven experience in architecture, including the design and delivery of medium to large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• A creative approach with an eye for detail, practical solutions, and a passion for design excellence.
