Role: Senior CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer
Location: Sunderland (Projects across the North East of England)
Salary: Up to £55,000 – £60,000 + excellent benefits package

WRG is supporting an award winning Project & Cost Management consultancy that operates across the North of England. The business has grown significantly over the last 5 years, they now boast a headcount of over 80 construction professionals, offering a range of services to their clients across the built environment.
The business is looking to appoint an experienced CDM/ PD professional to sit within their safety & compliance department and ensure that clients projects are compliant with 2015 CDM Regs and H&S legislation. They cover a diverse portfolio of projects across the North of England including; residential, education, healthcare, student accommodation, leisure, commercial, retail, local authority and master planning/ regeneration.
The role would suit an experienced CDM/ PD professional from a consultancy background who is looking for the next step in their career and would like to join a dynamic business which is going through an exciting period of growth.
Responsibilities:
· Offer a range of CDM/ PD services to clients.
· Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design.
· Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
· Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
· Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
· Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
Requirements:
· NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
· NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
· Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
· Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
· Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry.
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
