Engineer | Luxury Housebuilder | East Midlands | £45k+P

WRG are working with a leading private housebuilder in the East Midlands region who are seeking an experienced Engineer to join the business.

Main purpose of job

·        Provide assistance to deliver any civil engineering tasks required to support group business operations

·        Support site-based operatives with complex queries and assist to deliver solutions in a timely manor

·        Assist with supporting group projects as required

Key Accountabilities

·        The delivery and management of civil engineering schemes for all relevant projects

·        Negotiating and securing approvals from Highway/Drainage Authorities as required

·        Ensuring industry standards are met accordingly

·        Project management of group projects including commercial and industrial schemes

·        Manage specifications and seek cost effective solutions for all necessary civil engineering components

·        Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times

Relevant Qualifications or Experience Required

·        HNC/HND in construction or similar experience

·        Generally competent in AutoCAD & civil engineering/drainage design software

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Good understanding of industry standards
