Architectural Technician | Development Consultancy | Derby | £45k

WRG are working with a Development Consultancy based in Derby, who have expanded rapidly over the last few years and have an exciting portfolio of projects on the horizon.

The recently formed architectural division of the company is now seeking an ambitious candidate to join the team and help grow the company further, working in the residential, commercial, education and leisure sectors.

Role Description:

The role will be wide ranging and include measurement surveys, site visits/inspections, conceptual design and presentation work, planning drawings and application submissions, liaising with clients, planning departments, consultants and contractors, preparing building regulation and construction drawings and design support for live construction projects. Daily work will involve the predominant use of AutoCAD and some Revit, Sketchup. Most days are different and its actively encouraged to attend site, learn and develop your own skills whilst also taking part in plenty of company social events too.

Requirements:

·        A Degree qualification in Architectural Technology, Construction or similar/equivalent to this

·        Proficient in the use of AutoCad (LT)

·        Ideally have at least 3+ years experience working in the industry/Architectural Practice

·        Use of Revit and other software items such as Sketchup, Photoshop etc.

·        Clean driving license and be able to attend site in and around the East Midlands.

·        Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

·        Excellent communication and organisational skills

·        Ability to work individually and as a collaborative team

The Package/Benefits:
