Role: Graduate H&S Consultant

Location: London (offices in Central London with projects across London/ South East)

Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 + excellent benefits package

WRG are excited to be supporting one of our longstanding clients with their impressive growth plans for the future. The business is a property & construction consultancy that offer a range of professionals services to their clients across the built environment throughout London and the South East.

They have an established team of H&S Consultants and are now looking to appoint a Junior or Graduate H&S Consultant within the department. This is an excellent opportunity for a young and ambitious person to get their “foot in the door” with a leading construction organisation.

The business offers training and support from the first day, and with the guidance from other senior members of the department they will ensure your success.

The role would suit someone who has recently completed a HNC or HND within a construction related discipline or are a University graduate within a construction related field. Our client would also be interested in speaking with people who have worked within the property & construction sector and would like to transition into a H&S role.

Responsibilities:

·        Offer a range of H&S/ CDM services to clients.

·        Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.

·        Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.

·        Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.

·        Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place.

·        Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.

·        Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety.

Requirements:

·        NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (desirable).

·        NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).

·        Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body (desirable).

·        Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

·        Full UK driving license.
