We Recruit Group are delighted to be working on a great opportunity for a Senior Technical Coordinator / Technical Manager to join their Housebuilding team in Kent

As Technical Manager you will be able to demonstrate a pro-active approach to design development, working within a team environment from the project’s inception through to its completion.

The ability to demonstrate an excellent base level of technical knowledge, including a good working knowledge of the Highways & Drainage, Building Regulations and Planning would also be advantageous.

We are pleased to say, this role offers a Competitive basic salary and annual bonus and can accommodate some flexible working arrangements

The role of Technical Manager will involve:

  • Control the design process, from planning application through to project completion
  • Ensure consultants prepare detailed design in accordance  with company Specifications and Standards, Employers Requirement and Contractors Proposals.
  • Manage and review the design development process ensuring value engineering and buildability are considered.
  • To ensure timely registration with warranty providers i.e. NHBC, Robust Details and Building Regulation Application.
  • Manage CDM including the preparation, approval and distribution of the Health and Safety File/Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
  • To ensure timely completion and issue of technical assessments, Energy & Sustainability information, warranties, certificates and the like.


Key skills:

  • Construction/design related further education
  • Construction/design related HNC/HND/Degree
  • Relevant CSCS card
  • Social/affordable Housing sites preffered
  • Private spec housing
  • Traditional construction
  • Timber frame construction
  • Use of AutoCAD
  • Proven ability of delivering design for projects on time, to budget and quality standards with high customer satisfaction results.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Excellent time management with ability to multitask.
